Please join me in praying for people in need, using the 1iZen method of prayer:
1. Hold your hands in the usual prayer position, palms together. This is your signal to yourself that you are entering sacred space, connecting with the Divine. It helps.
2. Take three deep, slow breaths to relax and center yourself. Do whatever you need to do to enter a feeling state of peace and love.
3. Visualize the symbol (|), focus on the center |, and relax all tension, thought, and desire into a state of peace and Absolute Stillness. Imagine the stressed lines ( ) relaxing into the center line |.
4. Enter the sacred space within your physical heart — this is a feeling state of peace, love, and compassion. Remain here until you feel a "Yes" return to you — this is your affirmation that you are now connected, and resonating with, with the Field of All Possibilities. In this state your brain waves drop into the alpha state (8-14 cycles per second), and then, sometimes, even deeper into the theta state (5-8 cycles per second).
5. Say a simple prayer of thanksgiving that your prayer is already granted, that it is already real, and feel the feeling of having what you have asked for. Feeling it, here and now, is the key to healing and manifestation. When you feel that what you want already exists, it is real in your mind, and then it becomes real in the outer world.
6. Say, to yourself: "It is done." Your desire is now satisfied.
7. Have faith that your prayer has been "heard" and is already manifest as real. Do not allow yourself to doubt — act as if the object of your prayer has been granted. Your actions will now be the indicator of the depth of your faith. Strong, positive action indicates strong faith.
For example, if you want to send a healing prayer to everyone on our prayer list, you might say (and feel) something like this, in your own words: "Thank you Great Spirit for bringing peace and healing and success to all those people listed here." You might add: "And thank you for bringing peace to all the people of this world, that we may all live as one, in health, abundance, and happiness."
Please do not allow any negativity of any kind to enter your feelings — pray as though your request is already manifest in the lives of those you care about. Pray as though we have no needs, or lack of any kind — pray that we may all realize the perfection of that which already is. Life is already perfect, and we just need to realize that we are not separate from Life and Love; we already have all we need.
